About the event

Expecting Parents Group from Papillon Collective

Whether it is your first pregnancy or multiple, it can be a long, lonely and difficult journey. Connecting with others who are on a similar journey can be very supportive, no matter how you are feeling.

This in-person 8 week session is geared to birthing people/moms. Pregnancy is a physical, emotional and mental transformation. This group is not a typical birthing class. We will focus each week on topics ranging from how to build your postpartum village, how to prepare for relationship changes, what you really need for the first few weeks (for you!) and more. We will welcome guest speakers from the community to provide education and resources to support your pregnacny journey and into postpartum.

We will meet weekly on Thursdays at 4:00pm - 5:30pm at the Laurelhurst Club in SE Portland. The group will be faciliated by Emma Koehler, a teacher, trained RIE (Resource for Infant Educarers) facilator and owner of Twig and Branch parenting company.

We can't wait to support our expecting mothers!
