About the event

This isn’t another checklist for the baby.

This is preparation for you.

Over two immersive sessions, this workshop is designed to help those who are pregnant move from feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or unsure of motherhood… to grounded, confident, and deeply connected to yourself.

Together, we will focus on three core pillars:

Understanding yourself —

Make sense of the emotional, mental, and identity shifts of Matrescence so you’re not caught off guard by them.

Trusting yourself —

Learn how to quiet the noise, tune into your intuition, and feel confident in your decisions—before and after baby arrives.

Advocating for yourself —

Build the skills to communicate your needs clearly—whether it’s with your partner, providers, family, or workplace.

You won’t just take in information—you’ll build confidence and connection alongside other women going through the same transition.

In our second session, partners are invited to join—so they can better understand your experience, learn how to support you, and strengthen your communication as you step into this next chapter together.

Because preparing for motherhood isn’t just about the baby.

It’s about who you’re becoming—and how supported you feel along the way.

What we'll explore with guest local experts and providers:

  • Building your village + asking for support

  • Communicating with your partner in real-life moments

  • Understanding your stress + finding your way back to calm

  • Trusting your intuition and decision-making

  • What actually matters in the early postpartum weeks

  • Newborn sleep—what to expect (for both of you)

  • Feeding your baby—what’s normal and when to get support

  • Supporting your pelvic floor and physical recovery

  • And space for the questions that really matter
