About the event

Expecting Parents Group from Papillon Collective

Whether it is your first pregnancy or multiple, it can be a long, lonely and difficult journey. Connecting with others who are on a similar journey can be very supportive, no matter how you are feeling.

This in-person 10 week cohort focuses on the birthing person. Pregnancy is a physical, emotional and mental transformation. This group is not a typical birthing class. We focus on the birthing person by building confidence and connection so that they feel more ready and supported going through the transformation.

We will focus each week on topics ranging from how to build your postpartum village, how to prepare for relationship changes, what you really need for the first few weeks, what to expect during labor, how to support your pelvic floor and through postpartum and much more!

Guest speakers from the community to provide education and resources to support your pregnancy journey and into postpartum. You will have a chance to share how you are feeling emotionally and physically each week while learning and building connection.

This group is facilitated by counselor, Gabi Villasenor. To learn more about Gabi, read below.
