Pregnancy can bring excitement, uncertainty, and a lot of change—sometimes all in the same day. Having other moms to talk to can make it feel a little less overwhelming and a lot less lonely.

Join Papillon Collective for a relaxed morning at the beautiful Her Sanctuary in SE Portland. Meet other expecting moms, share what’s on your mind, and make connections before your babies arrive.

A morning for you

There’s plenty of preparation focused on your baby. This is time to focus on you—and finding people to share this transition with. We’ll settle in, introduce ourselves, and move into guided conversation and a simple activity, with time to share, listen, and mingle.

Come with whatever’s on your mind. You don’t need to prepare anything, and you’re welcome to share as much or as little as feels comfortable.

Who’s it for?

Expecting moms at any stage of pregnancy, whether this is your first baby or you’re becoming a mom again.

You might be looking for pregnant friends nearby, a place to talk about the changes you’re experiencing, or simply an morning with people who understand what’s on your mind.

Each gathering stands on its own. You’re welcome to attend either date or join us for both.

Your host

I’m Caitlin, a mom of two and the founder of Papillon Collective.

Over the past five years, Papillon has supported more than 300 women through pregnancy and postpartum. My favorite part is watching strangers become people who listen, reassure, and show up for one another.

I’ll guide our time together so you don’t have to walk into a room and figure out how to start every conversation yourself.

A few details

Do I need to attend both gatherings?

No. Each is a separate event, with its own registration. Choose the date that works for you—or come to both.

Is this a childbirth education class?

This gathering focuses on connection and the experience of becoming a mother. For medical questions and birth preparation, your healthcare team and childbirth educators are your resources.

What if I’m coming alone?

You’re welcome here. We’ll have introductions and guided conversation to help everyone get to know one another.

Is there a minimum attendance?

Each gathering needs at least six registered participants to go ahead. If a date doesn’t reach the minimum, we’ll let you know and issue a full refund.
